Show Mild November Ends With Little Moisture ' Mild November drew to a close this past week and except for a somewhat cold spat and the first real storm near the middle of the month, it was a balmy, fall month. A high for the month was recorded re-corded on Nov. 2 when the temperature tem-perature reached 72 degrees, but it was the 11th before a freezing degree was reached when It hit ?. The first storm of the season hit on Nov. 15 and dropped several sev-eral Inches of snow In the valley, with a total moisture content of .'5 of an Inch. The storm continued con-tinued that week end dumping successive amounts of moisture of .07, 09 and .12 for a total of .44 of an Inch over the four-day period. Since it was the only moisture of the month the .44 of an inch was the total for the month. As the storm moved on and clearing weather returned the low temperature of the month also came. It was recorded on the night of Nov. 19 when it hit 9 degrees. From that point the temperatures again jumped with a low of 24 the following night and on the 22nd the day-time high got back into the 60's with a 61 degree reading. The month closed Friday with a high during dur-ing the day of 45 and a low that night of 22, the next to lowest temperature recorded during the month. |
