MANNING Miss Judith ilnderson Becomes Temple Bride Miss Judith Anderson and George Smith Manning were united in marriage on Saturday, May 28, In a double-ring ceremony cere-mony solemnized in the St George LDS Tempi. President Harold S. Snow officiated In the rites. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wllmer N. Ander-son, Ander-son, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George R. Manning, all of Cedar City. The newlyweds were honored the same evening at a reception at the birde's home. The bride greeted the guests In a beautiful ballerina length gown of white lace. Her fingertip veil was caught to a crown of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet bou-quet consisting of a white orchid surrounded by lily-of-the-valley. Miss Judy Leonard was maid of honor and Darlene Adams, Aloma Bringhurst and Leila Greenhalgh were bridesmaids. I They wore pastel dresses of pink and blue and caried bouquets of pink and white carnations. The bride's twin sister, Cynthia and ! Marsha were flower girls. j The bride's mother wore a lace dress of pink and the mother of! the groom a blue lace dress. They wore white and pink carnations. Dale Rider acted as best man with Richard Isom, Kenton Wil-j lis, Clifford Craig, and John Es- pi In as ushers. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Petty greeted the guests, and Miss Marilyn Atkin was at the guest book. Working in the gift room was Mrs. Hazel Smith, Miss Laurel Smith, Miss Pamela Wood, Mrs. Alma Kunz, and Mrs. Norene Smith. In the kitchen was Mrs. Olga Manning, Mrs. Margaret Webster, and Mrs. Fern Hall. Marilyn Smith, Janet Manning, and Jalene Anderson served. After a short honeymoon in Salt Lake City the couple are making their home in Cedar City. |
