Lamoreaux, who was the former Miss Helen Decker Deck-er prior to marriage last Friday morning in the St. George LDS Temple. The marriage rites wero performed by President Harold S. Snow. Following the wedding, the parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux of Paragonah, were hosts at a luncheon on the St. George city park. The bride Is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Decker of Parowan. The newlyweds were honored at a reception given by the parents par-ents of the bride, that srne evening eve-ning In the Third Ward recrea tion nau in rarowan. ror me event the bride wore an original floor-length model of lace over atln, with scalloped neckline wiiii !?ng fitted sleeves. Her finger fin-ger tip vel? fell from a rhlne stone tiara and su? carried a crescent bouquet of red .-oses. Attending the brtJe were Mrs. DeMar Anderson, Mrs. Frank Slack, Miss Garna Decker, Mrs. Laura Burton, Mrs. Kent Talbot, and Miss Shirlene Talbot, all of whom wore sheath t?ress and carried nosegsys of painted dais-les. dais-les. Petite GaycLynn and Maia in Anderson were flower girls, carrying baskets of lily of the valley. Standing as best men for the bridegroom were Alan Stones iiu v nvfi ail u tit. The mother of the bride wore pink lace over taffeta and the mother of the bridegroom wore blue lace over taffeta. Also In the receiving line were Mr. and Mrs. Horace Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Decker, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Robinson, grandparents grandpar-ents of the bride and groom. Assisting in the Rift room were aunts of the bride, Mrs. Carol Carter, Mrs. May Carter and Mrs. Gertrude Benson. Mrs. Mayla Rollins and Mrs. Norda Barton were in the kitchen and the Misses Brenda Bentley, Lyla Hal-terman. Hal-terman. Sherry Dawn Evans and Bonnie Batt served. A program and dancing were enjoyed by those In attendance with Max Dalley acting as M.C. for the program. The bride is a graduate of the Parowan High School this year. The bridegroom graduated from Parowan High School and the Central Utah Vocational School in Provo. They are now making a home In Cedar City where the bridegroom is employed by Jones Motor Co, Attending the reception from out-of-town were Clinton Robinson Robin-son and daughters of Richfield, Mr. and Mrs. Dwlght Carter and two daughters of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Carter and grandchildren grand-children of Minersville and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Decker of Ka-nab. |
