Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN tUt CEDAR CITY CORPORATION CORPORA-TION will receive sealed bids up to 5 o'clock p. m, June 16, 1960 for the reconstruction of the southwest end of the NNE-SSW taxlway at the Cedar City Municipal Muni-cipal Airport located approximately approxim-ately 2 miles northwesterly from Cedar City, Utah. THE WORK CONSISTS of approximately ap-proximately 2,050 cubic yards of excavation , and embankment; scarifying and recompacting approximately ap-proximately 2,300 cubic yards of existing bituminous surface and crushed gravel base course; to furnish and rlacc approximately 4,300 cubic yards of crushed ag-ereeate ag-ereeate base course: furnish and Install approximately 1,300 feet of CMP and associated reinforced concrete catch basins; 5,000 gallons gal-lons of MC-1 bituminous prime coat; 150,000 square feet of bituminous bi-tuminous surface course (central hat plant mix) 2 inches in thickness; thick-ness; 5,000 gallons of bituminous bitumin-ous seal coat and approximately approximate-ly 58 cubic yards of seal coat material. THE WORK IS TO BE financed finan-ced by CEDAR CITY CORPORATION, CORPORA-TION, The Utah State Aeronautics Aeronau-tics Commission and the Federal Aviation Agency. Each bidder and prospective contractor shall be expected to comply with federal fed-eral standards for the construction construc-tion of airports, minimum wage rates and U. S. Department of Labor postings. ,:EACH BID SHALL BE accompanied accom-panied by a 5 bid bond in the form of cash bidder's bond or a certified check made payable to CEDAR CITY CORPORATION, and no bid Bhall be considered unless accompanied by such bid bond. Box 398, Cedar City, Utah, for plans, specifications, spe-cifications, bidding data and bidding bid-ding forms covering the project BIDS WILL BE OPENED and read aloud to the public at the regular meeting of the Cedar City Council to be held in the courtroom court-room of the City and County Building, Cedar City. Utah, at 7:30 p. m, Thursday, June 16, 1900. HOWEVER, bidders take notice that bids must be in at the city office by 5 p. m., June 16, 1960, and any bid presented at the time set tor opening bids will be considered late and shall not be received.
