Show School Official Will Participate In Five Day Confab Prirripal L. C Miles left Saturday Sat-urday to attend a Secondary School Principal's Conference at Utah State University at Logan. .rtTT,!r.L-.uiors, Junior and senior, sen-ior, will gather there from Utah and adjacent states to spend a week in discussing problems of interest and importance to the schools. Dr. Harold C. Hn1, of the University of Illinois, will be the keynote speaker and will discuss dis-cuss the development of curriculum curri-culum in the secondary schools. Principal Lee Y. Dean of the Vallejo Jr. High, California, will start the second day off with an address on supervision and the princlpalshlp. On Wednesday, articulation between the elementary, junior high and senior high will come in for careful study. Thursday is set aside for a thcroo.eh airing out of the place of centests sponsored by local groups, In the schools. A panel consisting of Dr. Hand, Mr. Dean D. McAllister, and L. C. Miles will lead out In this very controversial controver-sial field. On Friday, a final complete review re-view of all major Items will take place with summarization and important generalizations drawn. Mr. Miles, as state director of the Junior High Principals, will assist in the conducting of the five day affair. |
