Show Senator Frank Moss Accepts Service Academy Application Senator Frank E. Moss (D-Utah) (D-Utah) announced this week that he is now accepting applications for appointments to the United States service academies for the school year beginning July, 1961. He said: "I wish to emphasize two things: first, that my nominations nomina-tions are being made Irrespective Irrespec-tive of any consideration except the results of competitive examinations; exam-inations; and second, that we are encouraging as many students as possible to take the exams. "Even if a student is not selected, sel-ected, It is good experience foi him to take the tests. This is because be-cause every year more desirable desir-able positions are filled on the basis of competitive examinations examina-tions of one kind or another.
