Show SOCIAL SYIIIG The Pinochle Club was held at Mrs. Kenneth Gower"s home this week. Prizes were won by Mrs. Clark Barton and Mrs. Dan Lindsay. Lind-say. Light refreshments were served to end a very enjoyable evening. A pinochle club was held at the home of Mrs. Ray Duerksen ' this week. Guests were Mrs. Do-jnovan Do-jnovan Kearns of Salt Lake City land Mrs. Kenneth Gower. Prizes were won by Mrs. J. D. Dock-stader, Dock-stader, Mrs. Farrel Adams, Mrs. Utah Barrick. A lovely luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs Hugh Robinson and family enjoyed a visit with 'Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Parkinson of Beaver and Mrs. Clyde Shepherd Shep-herd and son Ricky, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Parkinson are the parents of Mrs. Robinson. Mrs. Shepherd is a sister of Mrs. Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Waldron and sons Scott and Allen, have moved to Ogden this week where Mr. Waldron has been transferred transfer-red by the Mountain States Telephone Tel-ephone and Telegraph Company. Hugh Stewart of Springfield, Ore. has been spending the week with Mrs. Maude Moore, his mother-in-law. and Mr and Mrs. Robert Reld and family. Week end guests at the home-of home-of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cower were Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Wood and children Graydon, Russell, Deanna and Scottie of Las Vegas, Nev. Mrs. Wood Is a sister of Mrs. Kenneth Gower. Also en-Joying en-Joying the reunion were Mr. and Mrs. Don Alger of Las Vegas. While staying with the gowers, they visited with other relatives Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rhodes, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Gower, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Alger. They all en-Joyed en-Joyed a canyon supper and a sight-seeing tour before returning return-ing home. Mrs. Donoven Kearns nd" 'small daughter, Lue Don, returned re-turned home to Salt Lake City-after City-after a week's visit with Mrs. Kearn's father, Wilford Bentley and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Bird. ! Mrs. Robert Reid Joined her mother, Mrs. Carol Meador in lProvo. They drove to Logan to visit Mr. and Mrs. Bill Meador and children, Shon and Marlene. Mr. Meador graduated from Utah State University at spring commencement com-mencement Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Adams and" family spent Sunday In Mllford 1 visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Hutchlngs. Miss Colleen Hutch-Ings Hutch-Ings will become the bride of ' Larry Adams on Aug. 19. |
