Show Last Rites Accorded Peggy Louise Orion Funeral services for Peggy Louise Orton, 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don B. Orton, who died in a Salt Lake hospital on May 29, were held in the Third Ward chapel here on Wednesday, June 1, with Bishop Howard M. Adams conducting and speaking briefly. Speakers were Mrs. Jean Hen-drickson Hen-drickson and Karl O. Mitchell. The" prayer at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Warren A. Dalton, where the body was taken, was by Jess Guymon. The Invocation was offered by a brother-in-law, Dixon Hunter, and another bro-. bro-. ther-ln-law, Warren A. Dalton, I offered the benediction. The 'grave In the Parowan cemetery was dedicated by an uncle, Alton Al-ton B. Orton. The musical program consisted of -the opening song, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives,- and the closing one, "Sometime We'll Understand," by a double mixed quartet; the song, "Prayer "Pray-er Mercy," by a vocal trio composed com-posed of Ramona and Elna Stubbs and Shirley Evans; and a vocal solo, "I Walked With God," by Howard Knight. The mixed quartet consisted of Pres. Knight, W. Clair Rowley. D. Watson Wat-son Adams,, J. Harold Mitchell, Bertrude Mitchell, Ruth Jensen, Veda Adams and Berta Dalton. accompanists were Mary Lyman and Itha Mortensen., |
