Show I Funeral Services Held for Lula J. Corry n dU iii ml ijli LULA J. CORRY j Funeral services were held, on; Monday, July 29 at the Cedar. First Ward LDS chapel for Luli J. Corry, 82, lifelong resident of Cedar City. Mrs. Corry died at i her home on Thursday, July 25, of causes incident to age. Speakers at the services were Warren Bulloch, George O. Grim-shaw Grim-shaw and memoirs by Uebecca Bulloch. Bishop Forrest Anderson Ander-son conducted. Musical numbers Included a song by Sharon Corry, granddaughter grand-daughter of the deceased; a violin vio-lin solo by Roy L. Halversen. and a vocal duet by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wood. Prelude and postlude organ music was played by Mrs. Homer Jones. The Invocation was given by William C. Macfarlane and the benediction was by Elwood J. Corry, Dedicatory prayer at the Cedar City cemetery was by Theo H. Corry, a son. Grandsons of Mrs. Corry were pallbearers. They included Herb-crt Herb-crt and J. D. Corry. Ronald Wood, Jack and Jerry Heppler; and Con-nel Con-nel Smith. Marlynn Smith, Sharon, Shar-on, Joette and Connie Corry, Ny-la Ny-la Palmer and Evalo Anderson, granddaughters, were the flower girls. Born April 27, 1875, in Para-gonah Para-gonah to Richard Ammon and) Deborah Harris Robinson, shet married John Herbert Corry Dec. 31. 1901 in the St. George Temple. Tem-ple. Receiving her degree from the j Brigham Young University, she taught school in Paragonah, Par-owan Par-owan and Kanarraville. She was active in church affairs, serving as secretary of the Relief Society Socie-ty and serving as a visiting teacher for that organization for 50 years. She also served as president pres-ident of the Primary. She is survived by three sons, MUo, Theo and Douglas of Cedar City; four daughter, Mrs. Helen Biederman. Cedar City; Mrs. Rue (Marval Heppler, Beaver; Mrs. C. W. (Nina) Palmer, Kaysville; Mrs. Max (La Rue) Wood, Coro-na, Coro-na, Calif.; three brothers. Richard I A., Los Angeles, Calif.; Dennl-son, Dennl-son, Salt Lake City and John Martin, Idaho, Falls. Idaho; 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. |
