Show Former Parowan Man Buried Here Monday The body of Frank Lazell Nor-ris, Nor-ris, 69. former resident of Parowan Paro-wan and father of Mrs. Dee Mick, elson of this city, was brought here for burial In the Parowan City cemetery Monday. Funeral services were held for the deceased deceas-ed at the Colonial Mortuary In Salt Lake City at 10 a. m. that dav. - The--bo4y ..arrived, here about 4 p. m. Monday and was taken to the Mickelson home. Burial took place at 5:30 with Wood row Decker, a member of the First Ward bishopric, and a nephew of the deceased, offering the dedi-catory dedi-catory prayer. Mr. Norris' six sons were pall bearers for the services and all 14 of his living children were In attendance at-tendance at the funeral and come to Parowan for the burial. Mr. Norris died last Thursday at 11 p. m. at the Salt Lake yards of the Utah Construction Company Com-pany where he was employed as a nightwatchman. Mr. Norris was born at Parowan Paro-wan Feb. 23. 1888, to William and Harriet Jackson Norris, and eslded here for many years. He married Ada D. Thompson at Cedar City Mar. 25, 1912. Survlv-ing Survlv-ing are his widow and the following fol-lowing sons and daughters. Sherman L.. Lester W., Rone T. and Kenneth S., Salt Lake City; Van J.. Meridian. Idaho; Flovd F.. LaHaDra, Calif.; Mrs. Dell Moore. Kingston, Piute Co.; Mrs. Lyle Bryan, Mrs. Bill Webb. Mrs. Bob Lukes. Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dee Mickelson. Parowan; Mrs. Bob Talbot. Orem; Mrs. Faun Hunt. Grantsville. and Mrs. Bob Clair Norris of Los Angeles. |
