Milne edged out a 7 to 6 victory although outhit by a 7 to 4 margin. Klwanis meanwhile, regained its winning ways, taking advantage advan-tage of Lions' loss to move into a tie for the league lead. Kiwa-nis Kiwa-nis scored two victories during the week. Friday night they defeated de-feated Columbia 10 to 3 and Tuesday Milne fell to the Kubs 6 to 2. The Lions bounced back for a 5 to 0 win over Elks WeJnesday night and Rotary defeated Columbia Co-lumbia Monday evening 10 to 6 In the only other game of the week. Here are the game rundowns-Thursday rundowns-Thursday Kent Leigh was the winning pitcher for Milne in the 7 to 6 victory over the Lions. They took advantage of a rather wild Inning in the third scoring five runs. Milne collected only two hits in that inning but drew five walks to push in the tallies. They added another in the fourth and Lions tied it up at 6-all In the fifth with a homer by Bruce Stucki. Hans Chamberlain also added a homer for the Lions in the game but it wasn't enough. Milne pushed in the winning run in the bottom of the sixth. Friday Paul Felt of Klwanis shut out Columbia for the first five innings and allowed three runs to cross home plate in the sixth. Although his shutout was ruined, the victory of 10 to 3 was taken by Kiwanis with good hitting by John Logan and Bob Cuff, both of whom collected two hits and both hitting for extra bases. Antone Pryor on the mound for Columbia, allowed a total of 10 hits in his losing ef-lort. ef-lort. Monday Rotary picked up its second win of the half with a 10 to 6 victory over Columbia. Steven Judd was the winning pitcher allowing four hits to the miners. Rotary collected eight hits, four in the first Inning to score five runs for an early lead.
