Show Little League All-Stars Eye World Crown Little League Baseball tournaments tourna-ments throughout the country open this week, and will wind up with the Little World Series in Williamsport, Pa., August 21 to 24. As of today, every All-Star Little League team in the country coun-try has a chance of becoming World Little League champions. The list will dwindle rapidly, of course, with single elimination tournaments getting underway today. The Cedar City Little League 1 All-Stars, managed bv Therol I McArthur and Yorke Nelson, will open quest of tournament honors Saturday, August 3, when they tangle with the Milford All-Stars for Utah honors. The game will be played on the Cedar City dla-mond dla-mond promptly at 4:00 p. m. Elloyd Marchant, tournament manager for the Cedar City Little Lit-tle League, hosts for the Cedar-Milford Cedar-Milford playoff, announces that everything Is In readiness for the big game Saturday. Baseball fans of the area should be on hand for the game, which should develop de-velop Into an exciting battle. A Nevada tournament will open op-en In Elko today, and the winner win-ner of that tournament will travel to Cedar City for another game on Saturday, August 10. This will be an Important contest, con-test, because the winner wlil gain a berth in a region tournament tourna-ment to be played at Phoenix, Ariz., on Monday and Tuesday, August 12 and 13. Winner at Phoenix will go to San Francisco to compete for the right to enter the World Series In Williamsport. Regardless of who wins the Odar-Milford game Saturday, the Utah-Nevada game will bo played on the Cedar City diamond, dia-mond, August 10. Representing the Cedar City i Little League on the all-star team will be Nell Roberts, Lee Hunter, ; Danny Jones, LeRoy Miller, Kent Leigh. Antone Pryor. Paul Felt, I Bob Cuff, John Logan, Don A. I Matheson, Steven Judd. Hans Chamberlain. Bruce Stuckl, and I Stephen Wood. The Milford squad, managed bv Clyde Turner and Ronald Gale. Includes the following boys: Max T.
