Show Lampman Regains Big Fish Contest Lead Eddie Lampman, who held the lead In the Cedar City Wildlife Federation's big fish contest from the opening day to mid-July, Just couldn't be outdone. His four pound German Brown taken from Duck Creek was topped top-ped Just recently with a five pounder weighed in by Sheldon, Stucki. That seemed to be enough for Lampman and Sat-j urday he returned to the Duckj Creek waters and brought home a catch that again gave him the lead In the Big Fish contest. Another German brown, thisj fish weighed In at five pounds: 12'i ounces. The trout was tak- en on a worm and apparently Lampman knows where they are and what they want. In addition to taking the lead in the season's prize Lampman won another weekly contest prize which was donated by Jones Motor Mo-tor Company. In the Junior division of the contest Joan Bauer won top honors hon-ors with a one pound none ounce rainbow trout The Bauer family has made shambles of this race with practically all of the week-' week-' ly prizes already captured by I its members. Miss Bauer receiv-led receiv-led an award donated by Cedar jDrug. |
