The tour will stop over at points of interest inter-est in early church history, as well as the largest cities in the East. Miss Stones left Friday for Provo to Join the group which left early Saturday morning. William Williamson and sons James and George, and his mother, moth-er, Mrs. Annie Williamson, loft Saturday for Salt Lake Cityi where Mrs. Williamson and their daughter ViAnn will join them for a trip to Yellowstone Park. I Among the relatives visited en- route will be Mrs. LaRetta W. Abbott and family and the All fred Williamsons in Provo, and Mrs. May W. Sante in Idaho. Mrs. Anna Williamson will remain in the North for a longer visit with , her children. Many relatives and friends from here attended funeral services ser-vices Monday for Mrs. Lula Rob-j Inson Corry. Mrs. Corry was born' and reared in this community, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Robinson. Mrs. Idella Robinson, Phyllis Robb, Laura Lamoreaux. Sherry t Dawn Evans, Shirlene Talbot and, Pelores Robinson carried out a delightful evening of pioneer! story telling on Tuesday at an out-door party at the home of Mrs. Nora Lund. Those giving pioneer stories were: Mrs. Lula Bastion, Mrs. Alice Robinson, Mrs. Nina Robb. Mrs. Delores Robin-' son, Wm. T. Davenport, Edward Edwards and Mrs. Lund. j Leah Jean Boardman, assist-! ed by Hannah Robinson arranged arrang-ed an appropriate musical and group singing program. Miss Helen Stones,' a member of the class, who is working in the Indian Mounds northeast of town, gave an interesting in-teresting lecture on this ancient village and the kind of people who lived there and some of their customs. Helen Jean Dalton. who was Inlured on Cedar Mountain on Friday of last week, was released from the Iron County Hospital. July 27. I Mrs. Keith Walters and children chil-dren of Springville have spent I the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Lund. Mr. Watters came Saturday evening and his family returned home with him Sunday. Miss Norma Lund accompanied the Watters family home for an Indefinite stay. Mrs. Thelma Lamoreaux Clow and four children of Yuma. Ariz. are visiting relatives and friends In Paragonah for a few days. She fraeled to Salt Lake City where! she met Georgia and Roger Clow,' adopted Korean children of Mr. j and Mrs. Clow of Denver, Cola' After their return to Yuma the visitors will spend a month with Thelma and the children. I Bishop and Mrs. Victor R. Rob- inson and children traveled to Kanab where they were Joined by Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Robinson and family for a pleasant trip, to Grand Canyon. I Miss Sanya Smith of Clearfield I is spending her vacation here with her cousins, LaRae Lamor-Jeaux Lamor-Jeaux and Vickie Lee Robinson. ! After playing two more Softball 'games during the past week In stake competition in which It I lost the first by a one run margin, mar-gin, and won the other by four 'runs, the Paragonah team will leave Thursday for St. George to play In the regional tourney. Stewart Thorley of Long Beach, Calif., called to see Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Edwards on Tuesday of last week. Antone and Michael Angelo of Henderson, Nev., are here for a week as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Stones and Blair Mitchell. Mrs. Hazel Edward D. Angelo and children Katherine, Christina, and Paul of Los Angeles, Calif., came Saturday to spend some time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Edwards. The Dority family held their reunion here and at Vermilion Castel in Parowan Canyon, over the week end. Mrs. Austin Barton Bar-ton is resident of the organization. organiza-tion. Those coming from out of town for the affair were Miss Laree Hunt. Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Gerold Davis and family fam-ily of Caliente, Nev. and Mrs. Electa Zabrlskie and Howard of Panaca, Nev. Mrs. Mary Ann Reese, 9.r, suffered suf-fered a slight stroke recently, and since that time has been in quite poor health. Many relatives rela-tives have called during the week to wish her well, among them Mrs. Dorotha Williams, Mrs. May Boyter. Mrs. Chloo Bishop, Mrs. Julia Edwards, Mrs. Linda i Munford. all from Reaver, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Williams and family of San Carlos, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Daltoi spent the week end here from, Salt Lake City, and on Monday,! Mrs. Mary Ortner came from Salt) Lake City to assist in The care' of her grandmother. Terry, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Royal Terry, reported his recent mission to Norway. An added pleasure to the Lunds was the fact that the entire program was given by I members of the Terry family, with the father taking charge I and speaking briefly. Mrs. May Lister spent a few days in Beaver with her daughter. daugh-ter. Mrs. Alva Gale, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Marie, Topham of Parowan were the speakers in Sacrament Meeting Sunday. Kvle Barton celebrated hi sixth birthday in fine style Wed-! Wed-! esday. His mother, Mrs. Dorthn Barton, also DeLynn and Org:, traveled to Newcastle where tr"-Monte tr"-Monte Sorenson family JoinedT them to go to Veyo to the popular swimming resort. Here the group-enjoyed group-enjoyed swimming and a picinic lunch in honor of the birthday. The day was completed with th . tendance at the rodeo at Enterprise Enter-prise and visiting with the Voy Sorenson family. Miss Annette Dalton, sports director di-rector for the YWMIA, announces that 15 girls are practicing soft ball this summer.
