Show Utah Parks Wins League Honors Utah Parks of the Cedar City Pony League walked off with the league championship on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with a double victory over Southern Uta i Power. Tuesday Parks scored scor-ed a 9 to 0 victory and Wednesday Wednes-day posted a 4 to 1 win. Parks won the first half and Southern Utah Power, by virtue of a play-off Monday evening, took top honors in the second half. The two teams squared off for the best two-out-of-three series and Parks took the championship champion-ship in two straight victories. Leigh Rosenberg pitched a 9 to 0 shutout for Parks in the opening open-ing game. Rosenberg allowed only on-ly three hits and sent 15 of the Power crew back to the dugout via the strikeout route. Parks collected a total of 15 hits off Calvin Hair on the mound for Power. Parks scored first in the second sec-ond inning.
