Show : William H. Manning 'Home Scene of j Christmas Festivities The annual Christmas party of the Reading Club was enjoyed by club members at the home of Mrs. William II. Manning on December 12. President, Mrs. G. W. Hunter, presided and gave an appropriate Christmas welcome after which she introduced Mrs. Ada Leigh who gave a report on "Juvenile Delinqunecy", which was found most Interesting by all present. A discussion followed 'wherein the ladles discussed what nart thev micht play in the nation's drive against delinquency. delin-quency. The heme of Mrs. Manning was beautifully decorated In the Christmas motif and the Christmas Christ-mas spirit was very evident thhroughout the afternoon. Eich lady was presented a lovely Christmas corsage as she was served the delicious luncheon by Mrs. Manning and Mrs. Mildred Smith, co-hostcss. As a climax to an especially nice afternoon, carols were led by Mrs. Manning and enjoyed by all present. |
