Show ASC Elects Community Committee Delegates Elections, conducted by mall, ' by the Iron County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committee (ASC) were completed last week on a community basis, ba-sis, it was reported today. Three community committees were named following the election elec-tion as fololws: Community representing Paro-wan, Paro-wan, Paragonah and Summit: Kendall Gurr was named as chairman and a delegate to the county convention; Vern Morten-sen, Morten-sen, vice chairman and alternate delegate; William M. Eyre, reg-ul.ir reg-ul.ir member; William Board-man, Board-man, and Carlisle Hulet, first and second alternate, respective. Community representing Cedar City, Kanarraville, Enoch and Lund: Wesley Bauer was named ' chairman and county convention delegate. Vice chairman and alternate al-ternate will be Kenneth Middle-ton Middle-ton with regular member to be Sheldon Stuckl. First and second alternates named were Lorenzo Luke and Dennis Bauer. Community representing Beryl, Newcastle and Modena: Ray Hunt, chairman and county convention con-vention delegate; Elmo Farns-worth, Farns-worth, vice chairman and alternate. alter-nate. Regular member Is George Crawford with William Hunt, first alternate and Dee Burgess, second alternate. Delegates to the county convention con-vention will meet at the Iron County ASC offices on Monday, Dec. 22 at 10 a m. at which time county officers for the 1959 year will be elected, to complete the organization of the U. S. Department Depart-ment of Agriculture subsidiary. |
