Following the very Interesting lecture, refreshments refresh-ments were served by Pat Imlay and Betty Stones. Hostess for the evening was Mrs. Richard Rice. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Richstelg was all decked out In Christmas decorations as they entertained en-tertained their pinochle club on Saturday evening. Joining club members as special guests were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Palmar lovely turkey supper was enloy-ed enloy-ed by those present prior to pl.-w. ing the game of the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Carter and Mr. and Mrs. Quinn Chamberlain were presented the prizes for the high scores of the evening. I Entertaining the ladies of the I Faculty Femmes last week were 'co-hostesses Mrs. Don Draper and Mrs. Gail Duncan. The noon luncheon was held at the home ! of Mrs. Draper with all members present. Employees of the State Bank of Southern Utah entertained their partners on Saturday eve- , nlng. Meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert White, they I were served a delicious ham dinner din-ner and enioyeH the dinner hour together. After dinner, the group went back to the bank offices where they transformed the bank foyer into a bit of Christmas wonderland. The social was enjoyed en-joyed by the group and the Christmas spirit was In abundance abund-ance as they spent the evening together. ' Joyce Long of Delta visited In Cedar City with her sister Flora Lee Maxwell durinj the first part of the week. Mrs. Lon was an honored truest nt tho PSII Fanii- ty Christmas dinner where she rendered two lovely vocal solos. Monday saw the visit of Lt. and Mrs. Kendall Jones and children chil-dren Stephen and Teresa craj to a close as they returned to their base at Waco. Texas. Arriving Ar-riving for Thanksgiving festivities, festivi-ties, the young couple had enjoyed en-joyed the past few weeks visiting visit-ing with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Jones and Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Marsden. During their leave time, they also spent a f"W davs in Las Vegas, Nev. where Lt. Jones took the Nevada state dentistry exams. j The annual Christmas tree trimming party was held by the employees of the First Security Bank on Thursday evening. A turkey dinner was capably catered cat-ered by Mrs. Melburn Williams prior to the decorating activities. A very pleasant evening was enjoyed en-joyed by those present. Dinner-bridge was the special event at the Evan Dobson residence resi-dence on Friday evening as they 'entertained members of their cou-I cou-I pies club. Enjoying the evening were Mr. and Mrs. E. C. DeMoss, Mr. f"H Mrs. PMrick Fenton. Mr. J and Mrs. Arnold Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Dte Cowan and Mr. and Mrs. Al Jensen.
