Show BPOE Sponsored Scout Troop Receives Charter Troop charter presentation ceremonies cer-emonies marked the official recognition re-cognition of Troop 332 sponsored by the Elks Lodge No. 1556 In Cedar City this week. The ceremonies cere-monies followed a banquet fr the 15 now scouts and a group of nearly 50 parents and friends in the lodge under the direction of James Olsen. A Court of Honor was part of the program led by Scoutmaster Jim Carrico. Tenderfoot badges were presented by Vernon Gras to the following scouts: Cliff Anker, An-ker, Mike Carr, Tom Davis, Jim Hickman, Doug Lundgren, and John Taylor, George Corry presented pre-sented a Second Class badge to Mike Taylor. Mothers of all the boys were on hand to receive miniature editions of the badge presented to their sons. New neckerchiefs made by their mothers were presented to the boys by their Scoutmaster. Roys in the troop are from the Toman Catholic Church of Christ the King, Father Everett Harman, Im ,: and from the Community Treshytcrian Church, Rev. Ray-mond Ray-mond L. Wilson, Minister. District Commissioner Ceorge Barrus presented each committee member with his charge of trust and responsibility then presented to BPOE Exalted Buler J. V. Adams the troop charter. |
