Show Whiting Bros. Stations Staff Enjoy Party The Northwest Division of Whiting Bros. Stations held their annual Christmas party at the Cedar City Airport Cafe Dec. 6. Approximately 75 persons attended, at-tended, including station manager, manag-er, tanker drivers, office person-nel. person-nel. guest speakers and their wives. Also in attendance were the partners of Whiting Bros. Stations and Lumber companies from Holbrook, Flagstaff and Fredonla, Ariz., Mr. and Mrs. Art Whiting, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Whiting, Mr. and Mrs. Milton WhltinR, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Kutch, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Whiting and Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Bushman. Sales meetings were held during dur-ing the day for all station managers, man-agers, with guest speakers including in-cluding Mr. Bills, Mansfield Tire & Rubber Company of Sacramento,, Sacramen-to,, Calif; Noel Fletched and Lor-en Lor-en Thompson of Frontier Refining Refin-ing Company, Denver. Colo. Buffet Buf-fet lunch was served during the afternoon. Awards for outttanding service to Whiting Bros, wer presented to several employees at the banquet ban-quet held Saturday evening. Excellent Ex-cellent entertainment was furnished fur-nished by the College of Southern South-ern Utah, while guests enjoyed steak dinners. On hand to accept drama and athletic scholarships presented to CSU by Whiting Bros, was Director Royden C Braithwalte. Christmas turkeys were given to all employees. Recently moved from Arizona, the Northwest Division office and warehouse for Whiting Bros, stations sta-tions located between Barstow, Calif., and Salt Lake City, is located lo-cated at 432 North 100 West. Re-, Re-, modeling of the new office and I warehouse will be completed soon. The Whiting Bros, territory Is rapidlv expanding and Doyle S. Randall, district manager, said that it is expected that several sev-eral new stations will be added i to this division soon, making a .total of approximately 21 service J stations handled by the new district dis-trict office. |
