Show PARAGOMAH NEWS MOTES I Mrs. Hllma Laniorsaux Miss Patsy Topham was home from Salt Lake City last week end for a visit with her folks, the A3xa Topham family. She had a few days off from her nurses training at Holy Cross Hospital. Walter Talbot enjoyed a recent re-cent trip to the northern part of the state to visit with relatives. He visited with his daughter Alice In American Fork, his son Roy In Kaysville and with a brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Lister of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Clove of Enterprise En-terprise arrived here Wednesday of last week to spend the day with the T. A. Kobinsons. Together Togeth-er the two couples traveled to Garfield County to visit a sister, Mrs. Mary Little, who has been in poor health for some time. Ray Robinson will leave the Iron County hospital this week and go to a nursing home in St. George. He will be accompanied for a time by Mrs. Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Will Robb have received news of the arrival of a new greatgrandchild, a son born on April 1 In the LDS hospital hos-pital In Salt Lake City to Clifford and Carolyn Robb of Salmon, Idaho. LeGrande Robb arrived here Friday. He visited briefly with the Will Robb family. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Rose of Oklahoma City, Ok la., spent several sev-eral days here last week with a sister, Mrs. Stella Edwards, and other relatives. Mrs. Sarah E. Barton Is now able to be around a bit after having been off her feet for five months, suffering from a broke.; hip. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Barton Bar-ton and Bishop and Mrs. James H. Anderson have spent some time in Cedar City the past few days visiting with Mrs. Gertrude Barton, who was hospitalized with a serious heart attack. J. Leonard Topham enjoyed a surprise visit from an old missionary mis-sionary companion Friday, Kenneth Ken-neth Tanner of Paysort. They labored la-bored together in Wisconsin 48 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson and Mrs. Olive Edwards traveled to Cedar City Tuesday to attend the birthday celebration for their granddaughter, Kathy Edwards. Mrs. Emma Dalton had a special spe-cial birtnday celebration last week end when all of her family came for the accasion. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Inglesby came from Salt Lake City, Mrs. Merian Dalton from Mantl and Mr. and Mrs. Alan Stubbs from Cedar City. Mrs. Lula Bastian joined the family group. - Mr. and Mrs. Abe Clayton of Salt Lake City were guests at the Frank Dunton home Wednesday through Friday. Mr. and Mrs. J. Leonard Topham Top-ham and Mrs. Eva Topham attended at-tended funeral services In Cedar City last Wednesday for Mrs. Rowena Heap. Mr. and Mrs. Arch Lamoreaux and son Orval of St. George visited vis-ited here Friday and Saturday with the Chester Robinsons. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson entertained at a family gathering at their home Saturday in honor of their son Elmo. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Edwards and children of Cedar City Joined the local members mem-bers for the occasion. Mrs. Marilyn Bradshaw and two children of Beaver spent Friday Fri-day here with Mr. and Mrs. J. Leonard Topham. Miss Vickl Lee Robinson of Ogden was here for the week end with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Davenport. Charles Murie, Lee Robb and Milton Robinson, all of Salt Lake City, were week end visitors at the Ivan Robb home. Mrs. Catherine Dunton was ik?n to the Truman Rest Home In St. George Saturday from the Iron Ccunty Hospital. She is reported re-ported to be Improving slightly. Walter Robb traveled to Salt Lake City Wednesday of last week with his son Ward of Cedar Ce-dar City to attend funeral services ser-vices for a cousin, Rado Kclley. Miss Connie Dunton returned to her schooling in Salt Lake City Sunday aftor being here for a time with her folks, the Frank Dunton family. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Close and small son of Salt Lake City were week end visitors here and in Cedar City. They visited here Saturday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Prothero. Mrs. Bert Bonzo of Cedar City also visited here. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Conder arvl family of Magna sjent the week end here with Mrs. Con dot's people, peo-ple, the Gilbert Robinsons. Clark Lamoreaux made a week end business trip to Moab with his son Mike of Parowan. The Cluff Jolley family of Cedar Ce-dar City visited with the H. Revere Robinsons Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Edwards ol Beaver visited here Saturday with Reed's mothei, Mrs. Olive Edwards. |
