Show Auto League Honors Won by Lunt Motor Lunt Motor this week won the Automotive Bowling League title when they took four points from the Cedar Glass. Co. Dix Tire Ship lost one game to Thorley Motor to place second In his half of play, and then took three points from Coca Cola Bottling Co. in a play-off game to gain the second place trophy in this league. Everybody was hot as they finished fin-ished league play with 27 men hitting a 190 or better. Some of the better scores were as follows: Ade Bunting, 240; Wayne Crosby, 235; Doug Middleton, 235; Dave Alder, 230; Elwood Bowler, 225; Byron Anderson, 217. Top series of the week went to Wayne Cros-by Cros-by with a 610, followed by Byron Anderson with a 605. Teamwise Dlx Tire had tho high series of the week, a 2664. with Lunt Motor following with a 2642. High team game also went to Dix Tire with a 9-19. Trophies In this league to- be presented April 5th go to the following men: High Series Doug Middleton, 634. High Game Wayne Crosby, 245. High Handicap Series Ken Blackner, 695. High Handicap Game Ado Bunting, 272. First Place Lunt Motor Co. Second Place Dix Tire Shop. Second place trophies go tc Gale Stolk, Chet Cripps, Rulon Bulloch, Cloyd Sudweeks and Dave Alder. ABC most improved bowler award goes to Clark Bonn of the Cedar Glass Co., who showed a gain of 13 pins on his average after the fourth week of play Men pushing for this award were Floyd Evans and Claude Dlx, who each showed an 11 pin gain. |
