Show Drive Launched for Recreational Supplies A state-wide drive to collect toys, sewing kits, television sets, coloring books, crayons, "penny candy", sporting equipment and other recreation Items for the children of the American For! Training School was launched by the Utah State Public Employees Association this week. According to Dean R. Steed, Chief Accountant of the Utah State Department of Highways and President of the State Employees' Em-ployees' Association, collection stations to receive the items have been established in the State Capitol Building. Collections for the American Fork Training School children may also be turned In at the District Dis-trict Offices of the Highway Department De-partment locted at 880 North Main, Cedar City. Chairman of the drive is Jay L. Sandberg, Traffic Survey Engineer, En-gineer, Utah State Department of Highways. Used television sets turned in for the American Fork Training School children will be repaired by the local members of the Utah Association of Radio and Television Tele-vision Servicemen. |
