Show Quarterback Club Set Meet on Little League Football A special meeting to consider the organization of Little League Football In Cedar City will be held Wednesday, April 14, under the sponsorship of the CSU Quarterback Club, It was announced an-nounced this week by Dr. Garth Chatterley, president. The meeting will be held at the CSU fieldhouse at 8:30 p. m. Special guest at the meeting, to explain the program, its operation, op-eration, function and success in other areas, will be former East High School and Brigham Young University football coach, Tally Stevens. Little League football Is an organization or-ganization for boys age 10 through 14 years of age and operates op-erates similar to the Little League baseball programs. I Boys in the 10 to 14 year age group and their parents are in-! vited to attend and participate in the meeting. Attendance of parents is a necessity. ne-cessity. Dr. Chatterley pointed out, for adult leadership is es-1 essential to the program. j Coach Stevens is recognized as one of the foremost authorities of football In the state of Utah and he is currently serving as( president of the Little League I football program in Salt Lakel City. |
