Show Letters to the Editor Dear Editor: There seems to come a time in everyone's life when a mere expression ex-pression of thanks fails to Rive the full meaning of an expression expres-sion one desires to give. For me that time is now when :so many thoughtful ami wonderful wonder-ful things have been done fo me since the fire at Leigh Hotel that destroyed most of my per-. per-. sonal belongings. Everyone has been so kind .-and so thoughtful that it is impossible im-possible to name names. However I do wish to thank the fire department de-partment of Cedar City, St George Geor-ge and Pa rowan for their fine efforts, the police departments, the jeep patrol, and all those volunteers who rallied to fight the fire. My personal friends, my relatives, rela-tives, the LDS church, and even Triends I didn't know I had, have come to my assitance. 1 have had personal showers given to me and I have received, through the mail, many, many items that will make it possible to begin "housekeeping" again. Sincerely I wish publicly to thank these many, many people and to tell them that I will long remember the interest that has been shown In my welfare. Sincerely, Ora Smith DEAR EDITOR: We are enjoying our mission very much. We are living in a city of about two hundred thousand thous-and people quite different to back home but some 'wonderful 'wonder-ful people. We have a branch of about 230 members and they are working to make a stake soon. It is wonderful to be working for the Lord. We send our love to all back home. Elder and Sister John Sheriatt |
