Show ENOCH-MIDVALLEY NEWS NOTES Mrs. Cora Murle Delyle Esplin from Shelly. Idaho, Ida-ho, visited with friends here. He came to attend the funeral for Drew Haight. He is a former resident resi-dent of Enoch and close relativ of Mr. Haight. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Christiansen Christ-iansen made a trip to Los Angeles An-geles last week. Gail Maxwell received a call to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-dry Saints in the Central Atlantic states. He will enter the mission home the 6th of March. He Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maxwel'.. Th.- Maxwells have another an-other on, Leon in the mission field. Ion wii! not be home until un-til No ember. . A fa'ewell testimonial will be held Sunday for Corale Gibson, daughtei of Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Gibson. Corale fs to enter the mission home the 13th of February. Feb-ruary. She will serve in the Southern States mission. The Ward Seventies Quorum sponsored a party at the recreation recrea-tion hall last Friday. It was titled "Enoch in Review," and featured pictures different members mem-bers have taken over the past years. The Music department of the MIA put on a "Music Fest" last MIA. People of all ages in the MIA performed. Some who had never apeared before the public in that capacity before. All who attended enjoyed it. The Glen Garfield family enjoyed en-joyed a surprise visit from Mrs. Garfield's father. M. E. Christ iansen and his only living sister sis-ter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Welch of Sandy, Utah. They stayed the week end. The members of our ward were shocked and saddened by the death of Austin Johnson of Delta who was killed in an airplane accident Saturday. The Johnsons were members of our ward for about two years several years ago. |
