Show Tree Planting Time Is Here, Says Agent Planning to plant trees for windbreaks, shelter belts, wood1 lots, past lots, Christmas trees or forestation planting on your farm or ranch land? It's time to order trees for such plantings, reminds Wallace Sjoblom, county agent with Utah State University extension ex-tension service. Application blanks for obtaining obtain-ing such seedling trees can be obtained at the county agent's office or from the Utah State Department of Forestry. The trees are supplied in multiple mul-tiple lots tf 50 per species through the cooperation of the Department of Forestry, USU and the U. S. Forest Service. To get trees for these purposes your farm or ranch must be at least two acres or more in size. You must agree not to use them for ornamental purposes or sell them as living trees, Mr. Sjoblom stated. |
