Show UP Agricultural Car Will Stress I Disease Prevention Don't wait until the cows are out to close the gate. In other words, prevent livestock and poultry diseases instead of just trying to cure them. That's the basic message you will be hearing hear-ing aboard the Union Pacific Agricultural Ag-ricultural Improvement car when it comes to Iron County. Two scheduled stops will be made In the county, according to Iron County Extension Afent Wallace Sjoblom. The agricultural agricultur-al car will be In Cedar City on Tuesday, Feb. 14 and will be t Modena on Wednesday, Feb. 15. Dr. Don W. Thomas, Utah State University Extension Veterinarian, Veterinar-ian, wPl be on the car with Wesley Wes-ley D. Soulier, U. P. Agricultural Agent, this year. They will start the program for each group visiting visit-ing the car with a film relating the story of the veterinarian. Livetock health problems particularly parti-cularly Important to this part of the state will be discussed. Dr. Thomas will also answer questions on animal health problems. |
