Show CSU Drama Group Makes Plans for New York Trip The tune of "New York, New York, is a wonderful town" is running through the minds of 45 eager and excited Drama Club students at the College of Southern South-ern Utah. The long awaited trip to the metropolitan center of the world is slated for Mar. 10-23. Additional plans for the trip were disclosed by Fred Adams, drama director at the college. He I said that $3800 of 'the $5000 for the educational trip had been raised and next week work projects pro-jects will include a variety show by the Drama Club Feb. 1 and baby sitting appointments. The group will leare Cedar City Ci-ty Mai. 10. and arrive in New York City Mar. 13. Time will be spent tight-seeing and touring the ANTA Theatre and seeing performance of the "Miracle Worker" starring Anne Bancroft 'The Sound of Music," with Mary Martin, and The Music Man" with Bert Parks. A session of the United Nations and the Metropolitan Metro-politan Opera are on schedule as well "as the St Patrick's DT parade pa-rade and a performance of "My Fair Lady," and "Camelot" A visit to Ballet Center Is also on the agenda. Sunday, Mar. 19. the students will attend church services and visit Radio City Music Hall. One day will be spent in Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, touring the White .House and the Capitol Building and other points of interest in the city, before beginning the homeward trek. I |
