Show ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 623. REVISED ORDINANCES ORDI-NANCES OF CEDAR CITY, UTAH, 1953. AND ESTABLISHING SECTIONS SEC-TIONS 62 IE AND C2SA, REVISED REVIS-ED ORDINANCES OF CEDAR CITY, CI-TY, UTAH, 1953. Be it ordained by the City Council of Cedar City, Utah: Section 1. That the following shall "be added to Section 623, Revised Ordinances of Cedar City Ut-h, 1953, "Commercial District C-3", Section 2. That a new section shall be added to the Revised Ordinances Or-dinances of Cedar City, Utah, 1953, and shall be known as Section Sec-tion 62 IE, and shall read as follows: fol-lows: 'That the boundary of Commercial District C-3 is described de-scribed as follows: "Commencing at the intersection intersec-tion of 300 West Street and U. S. High.vcy 91, on the south side of Cedar City, Utah, and thence running southwesterly along the north side of said U. S. Highway 91 to the City limits lim-its of Cedar City, Utah, and covering the area from the north side of said U. S. Highway High-way 91 northwesterly for a distance dis-tance of 150 feet, and running parallel with said highway to the city limits." Section 3. That a new section shall be added to the Revised Ordinances of Cedar City, Utah, 1953, and shall be known as Section Sec-tion 628A. and shall read as follows: fol-lows: "Commercial District C-3." A. Use Regulations. In Commercial District C-3 only on-ly the following uses will be permitted: per-mitted: 1. Bakeries (retail only), banks, barber shops, beauty parlors, book and stationery stores, camera and photo supply stores, candy, nut, and popcorn pop-corn stores, clinics (dental and medical for not more than eight professional persons), confectionery stores, dairy products pro-ducts stores, delicatessens, drug stores, dry goods stores (limited to soft lines only), florist shops (excluding nurseries), nur-series), fountains and ice cream parlors, gift shops, hobby hob-by supply stores, jewelry stores, music studios, photograph photo-graph studios and camera shops, professional and business busi-ness and business offices for not more than eight professional profes-sional persons, public and private pri-vate parking lots, radio and television stores, record shops, sporting goods stores, and other oth-er uses similar to the foregoing uses which are ruled by the Board of Adjustment to be In harmony with the intent of this zone, exempt that beer and alcoholic al-coholic beverages shall not be sold or consumed. B. Fire Zone Regulations. All buildinr constructed or placed in said Commercial District Dis-trict C-3 shall conform to the requirements of Fire Zone No. 1 and the area thereof shall he and hereby ordained to be part of Fire Zone No. 1. C. Area, yard and height regulations. regula-tions. 1. Location of buildings on land, height of buildings, parking park-ing regulations, entrances to the property and all other items of regulation pertaining to the construction or placement of biuldings on land an,i associated items such as off street parking, shall be as prescribed for Commercial Com-mercial District C-2 by the ordinances or-dinances of Cedar City, Utah, of 1953. Section 1. This Ordinance shall become effective thirty days after passing or twenty days after publication, pub-lication, whichever date is the most remote. Passed by the City Council of Cedar City.
