Second Class Scout Awards Sought By Girl Scout Patrol Floyejean Robinson, reporter The past two weeks members of the Girl Scout Patrol No. 1. have put their second class program pro-gram to work. There are ten fields for the girls to work in, Including arts and crafts. literature litera-ture and dramatics, music and dancing, community life, international interna-tional friendship, nature, out-of-doors, sports ami games, health and safety and homemoking. Most of the girls have completed com-pleted the Arts and Crafts field. Their project was carving and making leather belts. In literature litera-ture and dramatics they have had two skits given. In music and dancing they have been learning to sing "America". In sports and games, each girl must teach the patrol to play a game, and they are learning two new games each week. Lessons in first aid have been given including fainting, cuts, "scratches, burns, splints and triangle tri-angle bandages. In homemaking each girl is to invite a friend and try to make her feel at home In the meetings. |
