Show Piano-Vocal Recital Slated May 14 at College Auditorium A musical event of importance in this year's series of distinguished disting-uished musical programs, will be a Joint recital of piano and vocal music performed by Christine H. Winterrose and Richard Christiansen. Chris-tiansen. College of Southern Utah auditorium audi-torium will be the setting for this program on Thursday evening, eve-ning, May 14. Richard Christiansen, son of Mrs. Delia B. Christiansen, now of Cedar City, will be the featured fea-tured pianist His program will Include the piano concerta in A Minor by Kohert Schumann. Mr. Chrlstensen has been at CSU for ih past two years where he has been active as a musician In piano, pia-no, composition and voice. He composed the bulk of the music I for last year's variety show, I "Sing Away," as well as singing the leading role in Kurt Weil's "Down in the Valley." This year he sang the part of Monterone In "Rlgoletto." Mrs. Winterrose needs no Introduction In-troduction to Cedar City audiences. audi-ences. Her latest accomplishment accomplish-ment was singing a beautiful performance of Gilda In "Rlgoletto," "Rlgo-letto," on the CSU campus In January.
