Show Plans Announced For Spring Stake Conference President Howard D. Knight of Parowan Stake, Informs us that Alma King, a representative of the Unified Church School System Sys-tem of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be a visitor at the Parowan Stake conference con-ference session set for Saturday and Sunday of this week end. Mr. King is a member of the faculty at Brlgham Young University Uni-versity and Pres. Knight states that he will In all probability be j on hand to address the Saturday evening sessions of the conference confer-ence as well s the general sessions ses-sions on Sunday. These speakers are sent out to attend conferences to acquaint the general member-I member-I ship of the church with the great j program of education being undertaken un-dertaken by the system which includes its big university and colleges, Institutes and seminar-' seminar-' ies throughout the world at the present time. A Priesthood Leadership meeting meet-ing will be held Saturday at 6:30 p. ra. with a husbands and wives meeting following at 8, both in the First-Second Ward chapel. General sessions will be held at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. Sunday in the Third Ward chapel, and the MIA session will be held at th same place at 8 p. m., program for which will be found elsewhere else-where on this page. The Parowan Stake Singing Mothers will furnish music for the general sessions of the conference con-ference under the direction of Shirley Evans, with Itha Morten, son as accompanist. |
