Show Graduating Seminary Students Enjoy Spiritual-Social Day The graduating class of the Cedar Ce-dar City Seminary participated in a day of spiritual and social activity Saturday, April 13. Events of the day began with preparation for the day at 6 a. m., after which the 41 students boarded a bus and traveled to the St. George temple. Over 300 baptism for the dead were performed per-formed by the students, and they were addressed by Elder Snow, president of the temple. Following lunch at the city park, they traveled to Veyo, where they enjoyed swimming and other activities. On the return re-turn trip a stop was made at the "Mountain Meadows" where Brother Bro-ther Homer Chrlstensen, principal of the Seminary, gave a brief account ac-count of the history of the area. The group was accompanied by Brother Frank Day, coordinator of the southern Utah Seminaries. |
