Show Band Students Hake Annual Concert Excursion Seventy members of the Cedar City High School concert band left today on the annual Spring Conuxt Tour that will take them to Beaver, Provo and Salt Lake City. Group will perform a concert at Beaver High School this morning, morn-ing, Thursday, at 9:20 and will continue on to Provo for a tour of the Brigham Young University campus during the afternoon. Thursday evening the group will perform a concert at the Utah State Mental Hospital. Friday the group, directed by Eugene Holland, will move to the state capital for three concerts con-certs all in hospitals. First concert will be at the Shriner's Children's Hospital, then the LDS Children's Hospital at 2 and 3:30 p. m. respectively. Largest concert on the tour will be Friday evening when the band will perform at a special concert at the Veteran's hospital at Fort Douglas Friday evening. Forenoon the group will tour the Kennecott operations. David Randall, student director, direc-tor, will In addition to leading a number at each of the concerts, con-certs, perform a piano solo and a saxophone quartet composed of Richard Hlrschl, Richard McCon- nelL Rod Cox and Mike Carter will present a special number. Band officers who helped plan and direct the tour activities include in-clude Judy Christiansen, president, presi-dent, and McNeil Boyter, vice president Drum Majorette Is Ann Sherratt Trip will be partly financed from money-raised at the annua?
