Show I NEWS NOTES OF SUMMIT ACTIVITIES I Mrs. Hulda ?et ;iton Mr. and Mrs. Newell Mathe-son Mathe-son and small son Carl of Henderson, Hen-derson, Nev., visited with Mrs. Hulda Peterson last week end. Mr. and Mrs. Dwlght Dalk-v and children, Lloyd, Kenneth, Linda, Myrna, Franclne, Darlcne and Gloria are here visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Da Hey. Visiting at the home of Dell Stapley Sunday, was his mother-in-law, Viola Nellson of Murray Mur-ray and her son Keith aod daughter Elaine. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet attended a farewell testimonial for Gerald W. Matheson at Cedar Ce-dar City Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walker and son Robert and daughter Rolane, and Doss Walker, spent the week end in Las Vegas with Ar-dell Ar-dell Walker and family. Doss remained re-mained in Mesquite to visit with his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Walker, for a day or two. Mrs. Grace Pearce and Miss Pearl Johnson of Salt Lake City visited here Sunday. The Summit Ward members gave a party for the retiring bishopric and the Primary and Relief Society presidencies. The program was given by some of the college students at Cedar Ce-dar City. It included two vocal solos by Bernett Baldwin, a piano solo by Janine Bauer, aj reading by Arleen Edwards, an accordion selection by Arlene Tuft. Refreshments were served and the honored guests were presented pre-sented gifts. Mrs. Minnie Dalley and daugh-ttr daugh-ttr Mary Beth spent the past week in Newcastle with her brother and family. Mr. and Mrs. Norton James and son Bennie of Magna spent the week end with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wllford Law-erance. Law-erance. Mrs. ViRene Chamberlain and "three small -sois spent Sunday in Washington with her parents. Mrs. Georgia Matheson of Provo, Ardice Williamson and Pauline Rennie of Las Vegas, spent the week end with their mother, Mrs. Hulda Peterson. Herman Stuckl of Salt Lake City also visited with his sister, Mrs. Peterson. Herman Stuckl, Mrs. Hulda Peterson and Mrs. Georgia Matheson Ma-theson spent last Wednesday In Washington and Santa Clara visiting with their brothers and sisters. Mrs. Leona Ray, Mr. and John M. Stuckl, Santa Clara, and Mrs. Barbara Zohner, Washington. |
