Show PTA Workers Arrange Annual Jr. High Halloween Festivity The annual Junior High Halloween Hal-loween Carnival and dance sponsored spon-sored by the Parent-Teachers Association As-sociation with Ivonne Bulloch acting as chairman, will be held In the Armory Thursday, Oct. 31 from 8 until 10 p. m. San Mitchell's Mitch-ell's orchestra will furnish the music. The committee indicated that plenty of cider and doughnuts and fun Is being planned for everyone with Mrs. Frank Petty and Judy Hall in charge of the refreshments. Deep, dark secrets will be told in the fortune booth with Mrs. Tony Lambert and Linda Macfar-lane Macfar-lane in charge. A good old fash-ioned fash-ioned fish pond will be under the guidance of Georgia Knell and Betty Jean Bulloch. Plenty of prizes will be available for the pond activities. The game of owl dart with prizes for the sharpest eye will be under the direction of Kathleen Kath-leen Mitchell, Claudette Smith and Carol Miles. Another game to test the skill of the students will be "Ring Toss" with prizes for the tops in this event as well. Helen Crawford Craw-ford and Judy Matheson will. direct di-rect the activity. The Armory will have Its face lifted to the tune of orange and black with Ruth Seegmiller, Anna An-na Carter and the school's art department cooperating in the decorating event Everyone Is urged to come as his favorite ghost or goblin and special prizes for costuming will be awarded. Judging for this will will be handled by Dewey Olsen and Connie Benson. Mary Matheson and Glennls Orton will assist those who need extra help. All games and concessions will be only 10 cents, so everyone in Junior High has been reminded to bring his nickels and dimes. Immediately after the party a |
