Mr. Carter is currently serving as president of the Kl-wanls Kl-wanls Club, and Mr. Lee Is a former for-mer exalted ruler of the local Elks Lodge. In addition to naming a mayor and two city councllmen, each for a four year term, voters will decide what action the city should take in acquiring the Es-calante Es-calante Hotel property, which has been offered for sale. The city has taken an option for the ; purchase of the property, but final fi-nal decision as to whether the city should acquire the property will be left to the voters, who will cast their ballots on a $110,-000 $110,-000 bond issue at the municipal election on Nov. 5. |
