Show Parowan Roller Mill Reported Sold To Sherratt Brothers Announcement is made that the local roller mill, owned and operated for the past several years by Lavar Hermansen, is being be-ing sold to Lowell Sherratt and his brother of Cedar City. These men are making arrangements to purchase the building and milling machinery from Herman-sen, Herman-sen, and the real estate on which the building stands, from Parowan Paro-wan city. Mr. Sherratt, native of Cedar City and former owner of the Page ranch near Pinto, states that he is now In a position to buy all local wheat available, and explains that through connections con-nections with a pet food manufacturing manu-facturing concern in Los Angeles, he will have a market for the by-products coming from the manufacture of flour, enabling him to handle larger amounts of wheat than the mill has handled han-dled before. He also states the he intends to install large bins for the storage stor-age of wheat at harvest time, that he will also do custom milling mill-ing of wheat as well as treat seed for the farmers of this area. |
