Show Erickson Resigns, I Vacancy Filled By Salt Lake Man A Salt Lake attornney has been appointed to serve as part-time Juvenile judge In the Cedar City area of the Fourth district, it was announced Monday by the State Public Welfare commission. Max Eliason will fill one of the two Fourth District part-time part-time Judgeships created by the retirement of full time Judge Ferdinand J. Erickson and divi sion of juvenile Jurisdiction in that district Tex R. Olsen, Richfield attorney, attor-ney, will be Juvenile Judge in the Richfield area of the district Judge Ellason's appointment would be effective Aug. 1 and Judge Olsen's Aug. 4. Both appointments ap-pointments are 'subject to approval ap-proval by Gov. J. Bracken Lee. A native of Deseret, Millard county, Mr. Eliason obtained his degree in law from the University Univer-sity of Utah in 1943. He is also a graduate of the university's business bus-iness department In public finance fi-nance and taxation. He served as a naval officer during World War II after which he attended the University of California at Berkeley. He Is a member of the bar in both Utah and California. |
