Show Approaching Nuptial Ceremony Announced For Mary Frances Fish and Grant Wright Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fish of Colorado Springs, Colo., have announced an-nounced the approaching mar-iage mar-iage of their daughter, Mary Frances to Mr. Grant Wright, son of Superintendent of Schools and Mrs. Ianthus Wright, the marriage ceremony to take place at Colorado Springs on Saturday, August 2. The marriage ceremony will be performed at 3:30 p. m. at the First Christian church, and the young couple will be honored at a reception immediately follow, ing the ceremony. Mr. Wright, who served for three years with the United States Navy following his graduation grad-uation from the Cedar City high school, has made his home in Los Angeles for the past three and a half years. During his service with the Navy he spent 23 months on overseas duty in the South Pacific area. Following his release from the Navy Mr. Wright spent a winter at the Branch Agricultural college, col-lege, and then entered the Los Angeles Art City, completing a four year course in commercial art and then accepted a position posi-tion with Barker Brothers, a home furnishing firm with a chain of stores on the Pacific coast. While working in the commercial com-mercial field, Mr. Wright is spending considerable time at fine art painting. He exhibited a number of paintings at the annual an-nual spring exhibit In Cedar City this year. Miss Fish is secretary to the American Contract Bridge association, asso-ciation, with principal offices in Los Angeles. Supt. and Mrs. Wright and their two daughters, Mrs. Dale Milne and Miss Carol Wright, .will leave July 31 to attend the l wedding ceremonies in Colorado ' Springs. |
