Show 56th Wedding Date Celebrated By Stevens Couple A family dinner which took place in Beaver on Thanksgiving Day marked the observance of the 56th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stevens of this city. The dinner was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Grant E. Smith, son-in-law and daughter of the honored people. Their wedding day was in reality re-ality on Nov. 26 but the family dinner was held on Thanksgiving so that more members could attend. at-tend. Mr. and Mrs. Stevens were married on Nov. 26, 1895 in the St. George L D S temple. Both are natives of Parowan and have lived here all their lives. Mr. Stevens was born on Nov. 7, 1873 and Mrs. Stevens on Nov. 9, 1877. Both have been and still are active members of the L D S church, working in many of the auxiliary organizations. Mr. Stevens filled a short term mission to the Southern States several years ago. j Members of the family present at the dinner were Bishop and Mrs. Arnold Y. Stevens and fam-ily, fam-ily, Mt.
