Show Memorial Rites Honor 24 Elks Of Cedar Lodge Annual memorial services were held by the Cedar City Klks lodge, Sunday at 4 p. m. in honor hon-or of 21 deceased members. D. J. McMurphy delivered the eulogy The service were held in the Elks lodge roomj. Praising the personal and civic accomplishments of the departed, Mr. McMurphy reviewed the ideals of the fraternity. "We as Elks have designated as one of our most important rules The Golden Rule. In this rule Brotherly Love finds its most perfect expression,", Mr. McMurphy Mc-Murphy said. He pointed out the spirituality, integrity and patriotism pat-riotism the honored men had shown during their lives. "May charity broaden our wisdom, wis-dom, justice soften our action, Brotherly love inspire our conduct, con-duct, and fidelity enrich our relations re-lations with our fellow men. Fidelity Fi-delity requires a fitting symbol, and it leaves us with tended remembrances re-membrances of our Brothers. And may our memory inspire us to deeds of charity, helpfulness and love of our fellow men. So, may we meet our Brothers again in an eternity of bliss forever." During the services, vocal solos were given by Myles Walker, Mrs. Lois McConnell and Miss Alice Williams. Approximately 60 guests attended at-tended the services, among them many of the relatives and close friends of the deceased members. mem-bers. Those honored were William E. Miller, John B.
