Show Jones Infant Dies oi Pneumonia, Funeral Services Held in Enoch on Wednesday Funeral services were held in Enoch Wednesday afternoon for Bruce Jones, 15-month old son of j Mr. and Mrs. La Von Jones, with Bishop Stanley Smith presiding. The child died at the hospital in Cedar City Monday of pneumonia. pneumon-ia. Speakers at the services were Gaylen Matheson, Glen Jones and Oscar Mulct. Invocation was by Evan Matheson, benediction by Henry Grimshaw and the dedicatory ded-icatory prayer by Frank Armstrong. Arm-strong. The musical program included two songs, "Sometime We'll Understand", Un-derstand", and "Lay Me Gently Down to Sleep" by a double mixed quartet composed of . George and Henry Grimshaw, EJ-win EJ-win Armstrong, Ivor Jones, Rua and Helen Jones, Druscilla Smith and Hilda Grimshaw; a number, "Oh My Father", by the male members of the quartet, and a solo by Mrs. Irene Goodwin. Ac-' Ac-' companists were Mrs. Grace . Smith, pianist and Mrs. Goodwin, violinist. The child was born in Cedar City on Aug. 8, 1950, a son of LaVon and Ruth Holyoak Jones. Surviving are his parents, three sisters and one brother, Shirley, Colleen, Carol and LeRny Jones-, all of Enoch, and his grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. i Holyoak, Parowan, and Mr. and jMrs. Myron S. Jones, Enoch.' |
