Show Club Notes By Mrs. Ralph Box Mrs. Evan Dobson was hostess Wednesday evening to the members mem-bers of her club foi dessert and bridge. Mrs. Joe Lambert and Mrs, Boyd Poulson were guests of the club. Cedar City chapter 20, Order of Eastern Star, held Its regular meeting Wednesday, Dec. 5, in the new Masonic Temple. Mrs. Arnold Arrowsmith and Mrs. Fred L. Biederman were host-esess host-esess to the members and guests during the social hour. Mrs. Ralph B. Piatt entertained the ladies of the Lahoabey club Thursday evening at her home. Mrs. Orville Isom was a guest of the club. Refreshments were served and the evening was enjoyed en-joyed playing pinochle. Mrs. Carl Harrison was hostess host-ess to the members of her club Wednesday evening. Light lunch was served and the evening was spent in sewing. Mrs. Stanley Bradshaw and Mrs. Bert Horsley were guests of the club. The Twinklers club will hold its Christmas party Monday evening, eve-ning, Dec. 10, at the Masonic Temple. All ladies of the Order of Eastern Star are cordially invited in-vited to attend. Christmas gifts will be exchanged. Mrs. Bud Chamberlain was hostess Thursday evening to 11 members of her club. The ladies were served a light lunch and the evening was spent in sewing. Mrs. Calvin Johnson, Mrs. Carlos Black and Mrs. Marion Lanney were guests of the club. Ladies of the Canasta club were the guests of Mrs. June Bal-zly Bal-zly Thursday afternoon. Mrs. By-ron By-ron Mason, Mrs. Edward Miller were invited to join the club as new members. Mrs. Zealand Murdock entertained enter-tained eight members of her club Tuesday evening at her home for dessert and bridge. score prizes were awarded to Mrs. Wilford Fife, Mrs. Smith Stapley, and Mrs. Arnold Arrow-smith. Arrow-smith. Mrs. Clyde Higbee was hostess to the members of her club Monday Mon-day evening for dessert and dup-licate dup-licate bridge. Mrs. Gordon Christensen Chris-tensen and Mrs. Willard Lunt were guests of the club. Mrs. John Wickman was honored hon-ored recently with a birthday dinner party, at the home of Mrs. David Garbach. Places were set for the honored guest, Mrs. Howard Mase, Mrs. Jack St rate Mrs. W. F. Kennedy, Mrs. Robert Hacker, Mrs. Norman Heaton, Mrs. Ralph Box and Mrs. Kar-bach. Kar-bach. The evening was enjoyed in playing bridge. Mrs. Wickman and two children chil-dren left Saturday to join Mr. Wickman in Phoenix, Ariz, w here they will make their new home. Mrs. V. J. Clove was hostess Thursday evening to the members mem-bers of her club for dessert and bridge. Mrs. Richard Leigh and Mrs. Blain Hirschi were guests of the club. Score prizes were awarded to Mrs. Dale Milne and Mrs. Leigh. M. B. W. Club ladies were the guests of Mrs. John M. Brown Friday afternoon. Dessert was served to 12 members and the afternoon was enjoyed in playing play-ing canasta. |
