Show I LETTERS j TO THE EDITOR St. John, New Brunswick. Nov. 29, 1951 j Iron County Record Dear Folks: I did want to write and tell you how much I have enjoyed reading the Record. From all the improvements that have been going on since I left I am wondering won-dering if 1 will know the place. I have been very interested in reading about our boys and their activities in Korea and want them to know my thoughts and prayers have been 'with them, and hope and pray they can all soon be home with their loved ones. Am sure their thoughts are with you folks at home the same as mine are during this holiday season. I am grateful for this wonderful won-derful experience that has been given me to come on this mission mis-sion and hope I will be able to represent my ward and stake honorably. I have had the pleasure of working in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut, and am now in St, Johns, New Brunswick, Canada. It is very cold and damp here. The streets are so steep and this time of year aren't very inviting. invit-ing. But we are having the opportunity op-portunity of meeting some fine people. Am sure the people of Cedar would be proud of the wonderful work Brother and Sister Maughan are doing here. The missionaries and people of New England love them and have great respect for them. I would like to extend season's greetings to all my friends at home and all those in the armed forces, and those who are away on missions. Am sure all of them are enjoying the Iron County Record as I am. Looking forward to being with all of you next Christmas, Sincerely, Ardella B. Ford |
