Show Korean Vets Arrive j In San Francisco Sfc. Don H. Neison and Sgt. Mac D. Armstrong of Cedar City, first two men to leave headquarters headquar-ters battery of the 213th Field Artillery battalion on rotation arrived in San Francisco Monday, Mon-day, and are expected home on leave in the next day or two. Sfc. Nelson called his wife from Pittsburg, Calif, and reported that he and Sgt. Armstrong had been ordered to report at Fort Ord, after which they expected to start home on a 30-day leave. Fourteen other members of headquarters battery, the second group to leave on rotation and who left Korea on Nov. 17, are reported to have sailed from Ja-1 pan on Dec. 4. It will take from 12 to 14 days to reach the states. I The third group of 11 men ! from the battery are known to have reached Japan early this week, but no word of their sailing sail-ing date has been received. |
