Show Bronco Basketball Squad Cut to 16 Men; Prepare for Practice Games With his first game of the season sea-son only a little more than a week away, Branch Agricultural college basketball coach, Cleo Petty has cut his squad to 16 men, and has been drilling them hard during the past few days. The Broncos will tangle with the Hill Air Force base team in the BAC fieldhouse Saturday night, Dec. 1. A preliminary game will pit the Bronco B squad against the Cedar high school Redmen. Four members of the squad were high school stars during the 1949-50 season, but are playing play-ing their first junior college basketball bas-ketball this year. Jim Barthel, an all-stater from Murray high in his last year in school, was not in school last year. Roger Olpin, Millard high school star, Neil Christiansen, member of the powerful Monroe team of two years ago, both attended Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university last year.
