Show Club Notes By Mrs. Ralph Box Mrs. Rex Leigh entertained the ladies of her club Thursday afternoon af-ternoon for dessert and canasta. Mrs. M. M. Rasmussen and Mrs. Byron Mason were guests of the club. Mrs. Carl Hazel was hostess Monday evening to the ladies of her club for dessert and bridge. Score prizes were awarded to Mrs. Arnold Arrowsmith, Miss Ethel Smith. Honor prize was given to Mrs. Paul Stewart. Mrs. Evan Dobson entertained the members of her club Monday evening at her home for dessert and bridge. Miss Marge Marsden and Mrs. Arlo Stewart were guests of the club. j Miss Afton Peters was hostess to the ladies of her club Wednesday Wed-nesday evening with all members mem-bers present. Supper was served and the evening was spent in sewing. The Twinkler's club will hold its regular meeting and social Monday, Nov. 26, at the home of Mrs. Frank Quinn. Mrs. Elwyn Halterman was hostess Thursday evening at her home to the members of her club for dessert and canasta. Mrs. Ivan Orton, Mrs. John Wickman, Mrs. Robert Hacker and Mrs. Therol McArthur were guests of the club. Score prizes were given to Mrs. Orton, Mrs. Reed Esplin and Mrs. Gordon Matheson. Ladies of the Thursday club were guests of Mrs. Carl Croft Thursday evening at her home for bridge. Guests were Mrs. Richard Leigh and Mrs. Boyd Holyoak. Score prizes were given to Mrs. R. C. Morris and Mrs. Arthur Higbee. Ladies of Elks held their November No-vember meeting and social on Thursday evening at the Elks rooms. The ladies enjoyed a program pro-gram of dance numbers by Shar-on Shar-on Givan, a piano solo by RaNae Gentry, and a Thanksgiving reading ably given by Joy Crosby. Cros-by. Members all joined in for a round of games. Ladies in charge of the affair were Mrs. Jack Pace, Mrs. Sam Gentry, Mrs. Ross Woolsey, Mrs. Wayne Jackson, Mrs. C. M. Ahlstrom, Mrs. Jack Crosby. Forty-six members enjoyed en-joyed a Chinese supper to climax cli-max the evening. Game prizes were awarded to Mrs. Jack Strate, Mrs. Carl Hazel and Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond Lee. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served to the members mem-bers and guests by Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Lewis and Mr.' and Mrs. Harlan Durand during the social hour. Mrs. Haze Hunter entertained the members of her club at bridge on Wednesday evening. Guests of the club were Mrs. F. L. Frye, Mrs. Joe Lambert and Mrs. Corry Olson, Score prizes were awarded to Mrs. Max Cowan Cow-an and Mrs. Olson, The Wei-ak-avi club members were the guests of Mrs. L. C. Miles Thursday afternoon at her home. Mrs. Parson U. Webster presided. Refreshments were served to the members and I guests by the hostess. Mrs. Gail Plummer was a guest of the club. |
