Show Main Street Lighting For Holidays Hearing Completion Members of t he Junior Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce spent Sunday decorating Main steret in preparation prep-aration for the Jaycee's annual Christmas lighting program. Lights have been strung across I the street in the business district, dis-trict, light poles have been decorated dec-orated with large Santa Claus replicas. In addition large light-jed light-jed stars have been placed on I South Main street and in front of the post office and lights will be strung through the Harding Ave. shopping center. The decorating will be completed com-pleted during the week and on Saturday, Dec. 1, the Jaycees will present a Christmas program, and officially turn on the lights for the holiday season. Details of the program will be announced an-nounced later, according to Chester Ches-ter Cripps, Junior Chamber president. presi-dent. Ross Glass is chairman of the Christmas lighting committee, and has received sunnort from a large number of the Jaycce members in putting up the lights. Mr. Cripps states that following follow-ing the program during which the lights will be turned on early ear-ly in the evening of Dec. 1, the Jaycees and their partners will gather at the Airport municipal building for a membership party.
